Securing a National Sector Lead: Defence for BG&E

BG&E, a leading engineering and design consultancy, aimed to strengthen its Defence sector presence by appointing a National Sector Lead. Despite a 12-month passive search, they couldn't find a candidate with the required civil engineering background, Defence sector experience, stakeholder engagement skills and ex-uniform experience. This led BG&E to engage our executive search services.

We conducted a 12-week, structured and confidential search, identifying and approaching 51 professionals. This resulted in a longlist of 21 suitable candidates, which was narrowed down to eight after discreet engagement and screening. After further interviews, a preferred candidate was selected and successfully appointed.

The successful candidate was an ex-uniform, degree-qualified Defence sector specialist. This process enhanced BG&E’s brand and market presence in the Defence sector.

Securing AMTIL's Future: A Strategic CEO Search by FindStaff

AMTIL, the leading body for precision engineering and advanced manufacturing since 1999, faced the challenge of replacing its long-serving CEO in 2023. The Board sought a new CEO with industry knowledge, advocacy skills and strong leadership.

AMTIL partnered with FindStaff Executive Search, which leveraged extensive networks and promoted the role through relevant platforms. They screened candidates rigorously, focusing on those who could foster Government relationships and demonstrate visionary thinking.
