FindStaff Welcomes New CEO, Mark Burns, to Lead the Company Towards a Vibrant Future
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mark Burns as the new CEO of FindStaff. Mark’s extensive and diverse career journey has equipped him with the unique insights and leadership skills needed to drive our company forward.
Mark’s journey began in the rural areas of New South Wales, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication from an early age. Waking up before dawn to labour in farming and shearing sheep, he developed a deep appreciation for employment, regardless of the job’s nature. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for his future success and his unwavering commitment to helping people find meaningful work.
His career took a significant turn when he joined the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), where he gained invaluable experience in business management and customer service. During his tenure, Mark travelled extensively throughout country NSW and Queensland, broadening his understanding of diverse communities and their employment needs.
Before founding his own recruitment and training business, Mark also made notable contributions to the retail petroleum industry, playing a key role in a national franchise pilot program for Shell. His diverse background has given him a comprehensive perspective on the challenges and opportunities in various sectors.
Mark’s passion for empowering individuals through employment has been a driving force throughout his career. He has held leadership roles in organisations such as Spotless, and within the Education, Workforce Australia, and Disability Employment sectors. “We should never underestimate how empowering employment is, regardless of what stage we are in our career,” Mark emphasizes.
As our CEO, Mark is dedicated to ensuring that the recruitment process is respectful and empowering, from the initial application to the final placement. He joins FindStaff with a vision to continue positively impacting the lives of individuals and communities through education, employment and personal growth.

In his free time, Mark enjoys spending quality moments with his family and engaging in outdoor activities. Living in Perth, he often finds time to relax at the beach and enjoy the stunning sunsets.
